Bottles and cans that are part of the deposit-return system are accepted by all shops that sell them.
Larger shops that sell electronics will accept all consumer electronics that are less than 25 centimetres in size. In other shops, a one-for-one principle applies. This means that you have the option of returning one old product when you buy a new, equivalent product in the shop. Not sure what applies? Ask in your shop what rules apply there.
Gas cylinders, car batteries and tyres must be returned to the respective place of sale. Unused fireworks and flares should also be turned in to places that sell such products.
